It begins...

After some distraction, Ryon and I (Mary here) have decided to head off on the road once more. In one week we will begin a journey unlike any other we have undertaken. Beginning in Southern California, we will be making our way up the coast, stopping to camp and explore the variety of National Forest, Wilderness Areas and Parks along the western seaboard of the United States. Although the rough route is planned, we intend to make our way up to Washington (possibly even Canada) on this extended camping road trip adventure. As we prepare our gear and pack our belongings into storage, something has become clear: this is a power shift. We are taking back control of our lives. We go to live intentionally in every decision, in every path, in every camp site. We are taking a leap of faith into what we love the most - being in nature.
